Windsor week-end - Royal Horse Show 1

Back to Windsor.

Food wasn't the main reason I visited Windsor this year … the horse-show was a big part of it.

The backdrop to the show jumping and other events is absolutely stunning

  1. A photo of the Queen never fails to impress us Americans. We have got our independence but still, the Royal family Rocks!

    1. They are. And there are some pictures of the Household Cavalry Musical Ride to come in the next post ;-).
Training the horse to run so close to one another and lying down must take months of practice. That never fails to impress me.

    1. Windsor definitely gets taken over by the Horse-crowd ;-) But worth the day out.
I am not a horse-person and have accompanied a friend a few times. I really enjoy the day.

    1. The kids will love it. There are some really fun races on Shetland ponys and other kids competition. They are tremendous fun to watch for both kids and grown ups ;-)
